The Great Buck Howard
Completely forgettable but wonderfully charming. Its mid-section is great fun, bolstered by a really nice cast (the Hankses, Malkovich on sparkling form, Steve Zahn doing his thing and Emily Blunt looking lovely). But it falters a little too far into mediocrity in its final stretch to be a true gem. Well worth a watch - and often slyly funny, thanks to Malkovich - if a little too slight.I experienced an invasion of my mind by a transcendentally rational mind, as if I had been insane all my life and suddenly I had become sane.Comment

How Stella Got Her Dragon Back.
I loved it. The design in this movie is fantastic, especially the main dragon. The design for Toothless just hits that perfect visual note every time, a mixture of a family pet and a dragon. He kept reminding me of my family's cat back home. He looks like a cat with wings.
The story felt fresh even though it has been told thousands of times. Not an easy feat, but they pulled it off effortlessly.
