Played all weekend. Still digging the hell outta it. Did another flashpoint today that was pretty fun. Pissed some dude off because I won a pair of pants and the first thing I did was equip them. He's all like "WTF MAN THOSE MODS DON'T EVEN DO YOU ANY GOOD I NEEDED THOSE" to which I responded "Dude, read my title. It says "Buffington the Backstabber"." He was none to pleased.

What operating system are you using Rob? I only ask because I had similar issues as Matt with the Beta and I'm wondering what was causing it. There has to be a reason why it shit the bed for some and was easy breezy for others.

Well that's not the issue b/c that's what I'm on. Wonder if something in my virus protection or similar programs were behind it? Not that I'll be buying it soon due to my brokeness but it may help to diagnose this shit for others who may be interested.

I have Bitdefender put to game mode, close down all other running programs (steam, etc) and have had one "crash" to desktop. Where it wasn't so much a crash (never got an error message) but it seemed to be due to a steam message that was sent my way.

I still check out the forums to read the complaints. The launcher failing to launch is STILL a fucking issue. Near as I can tell, it's mainly showing up for people who bought physical copies of the game. I got it to work ONCE by deleting a bunch of shit and downloading the launcher from the website...that brought up the launcher and actually started the game for me. Then, I picked to be a good guy and the opening video started. I got about 20-30 seconds into the video (which looked and sounded GREAT, by the way) when my screen went black...which is yet ANOTHER issue that I've seen people have on the forums.

My machine exceeds every spec that is required to play this fucking game. Really pissed.

ah there it is. I downloaded and installed EVERYTHING from their launcher, but prior to that I had to delete all of the subfolders listed in my program files.

My physical copy was opened only so I could register it.

I downloaded mine off the site for the beta so I don't believe that's the issue.

My buddy had an issue as well and he installed the game from the disc. Once he removed everything from his system and downloaded the launcher/game assests he didn't have any issues. I know it's anecdotal but it is what it is.
