Looks like I lost only Tali. Garrus got shot, but he shrugged it off. I suppose I got him an upgrade. I told Illusive Man to go fuck himself all the way through. And Terminator-Mecha-Gigantour-Reaper was lulz.

Is it broken if the combat is bad and if the mining minigame is one of the worst, most boring concepts put into a game and if the story is weirdly devoid of foreward momentum or urgency?

Also thinking about doing a quick (not at all quick) re-run through ME1 as a complete bastard. I may need a rapeshower after, but I wonder how it will change the course of the ME2 story*.

Man, the Illusive Man is a total dick. Sending me into a Collector ship trap? Fuck that guy. I ripped him a new one when I got back on the Normandy. It didn't help that I died a shitload during that mission because I don't think I was leveled up enough.

Did anyone choose to kill Samara during her loyalty mission? I killed Morinth because I'm playing as a good guy but I wonder if the sex-killer joins your party if you let her live. Also, did the sound cut out on anyone during their fight? I'm glad I had the subtitles on.

Only had the Morinth/Samara prompt come up the first play through and haven't seen it since.

Apparently Merv is too callow an individual. And I'm tired of being shut down by Samara, so maybe her daughter will be up to Merv's loose standards and even looser morals.

Having read back what I just typed, Merv is a fucked up dude.

This game is so boss. I started the suicide mission last night and then realized it was too late for me to be up since I had shit to do this morning. I assigned Tali to the vents and Miranda to be the second squad leader. I'm totally paranoid one or both is going to die. I finally got a taste of that sweet Cerberus business and want to keep that going for the third game. The cutscenes after you use the Omega relay were awesome, if a little choppy. I'm excited to jump back in to finish things up sometime this afternoon.

I think I'll need to do a second playthrough where I don't make decisions based on whether I get loyalty achievements or not. I did the Tali and Legion loyalty missions last and there were definitely a few decisions I would have made differently if I wasn't going for achievements (i.e. killing all the geth instead of rewriting them). That said, I don't know how some of you freaks (here or at CHUD, I don't remember) could have been on your second or third playthrough within a week of release. I have to be at least at 40 hours on my first go so far.
