Originally planned for a return to home on the 9th but pushing it back to the 16th for now (with the possibility to pushing out further). Much to be done and my dad was worse off than I thought (his appointment for the first injection is on Wednesday). Just not comfortable leaving so soon after the first injection. Plus plenty to keep me occupied on the farm.

On top of which, I feel like I need to meddle in my dad's love life. Time he got the divorce finalized and moved on with making a new life with his fiancée. She's a great lady and it's been a long time since my dad has had an equal. Unfortunately, that's where I need to meddle. He seems to have forgotten what it means to have a partner that is up to the task of meeting him halfway. So I'll be subtly reminding him for the next few days. Sigh. A son's job is never done.
