Just like all of Roland's movies.

I still think that 'The Patriot' is superior in that it actually TRIES in the story department (albeit it glosses over slavery pretty quickly).

Actually, it just injects 21st century morality way too much.

A: Slave signs on. White man is disgusted.
2: Slave hangs tough. White man is slightly impressed.
d: Slave lives through war. White man hands over wife and daughter for rough anal.

Pullman's speech in ID4 works for some reason. Maybe because I'm easy.

The problem with Wallace's speeches is 1) after he speechifies, no one blows shit up with jets, and 2) subsequent reveals into Mel Gibson's life and his Christ fixation make Braveheart so creepy it's hard to watch.

And that fireball dodging dog is a serious badass. He's such a badass he should be covered on an internet site somewhere. Perhaps even in digest form.

So, in conclusion, Independence Day > Braveheart. And Battle: Los Angeles kind of stinks regardless.

I agree. Let's add to the fact that the "bad guy" in Braveheart is actually the real hero...(the battle at the end where Braveheart let'S you think they lost, all famished and skinny? The Scots won the Battle of Stirling Bridge...)

So, I'm seeing Battle: LA this Wednesday, and on Dbox* out of all thing! I hope I don't puke!!! Or Buts-A-Nut.

B:LA was Blackhawk Down with aliens instead of Somalians.

Watching the support drone thruster technology at work was the best part. Bad-ass cgi.

Thanks. And no, my theatre doesn't have that...unfortunately.

Dbox seems akin to a William Castle gimmick, just gooder.

Kinda. I'm skeptical, but I heard good things, so I'll see.
