Haha, we're not that out of sync with each other normally...
Are we?

I'll instead take that Star Wars porn parody kay thx.
I wasn't advocating that, dude! I was being sarcastic about the prospect of a Snyder'd-up Star Wars. I'm in line with Tim and Rob's angle on remakes - I'm not nearly as easily angered by them in general as some fans are - but the thought of such a remake... ugh.

Cause while I never gave a shit about the Twilight bitch and Snow White in general, teh cast alone makes me want to see this. I like Charlize, and the Hemsworth was good so far.
I mean, the 7 dwarves are played Ian McShane, Bob Hoskin, Ray Winstone, Eddie Marsan and Nick Frost??????
I was joking. But I'd take that porn parody over the new trilogy anyway, and I heard that it was crap anyway. But I gotta see it...
Oh, sorry. I only realized how potentially ambiguous my post was after it was submitted.
As sarcastic as I was about the prospect of Snyderwars, the guy would probably cast Stephen McHattie as a Grand Moff, which is a-okay by me, especially if he channels his Deep Space Nine Romulan ambassador persona...
"They're on Dantooine."
"It's a FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKEE!!!"

I dislike the remakes because they take money & other resources away from worthy projects on NEW material that I KNOW are out there to turn a cynical buck. Also, w/ very rare exceptions, they suck. SO they're effectively a waste of those resources. And like Tim, I was gonna say that, even though I am intrigued by the new Spidey reboot, I don't see why the Peter Parker Parents angle couldn't be incorporated into the existing story line somehow. They're using the Lizard, a new villain, anywway. Why not advance the already existing storyline a bit?
I like the way the line runs up the back of the stocking.
