Yeah, it's more like a the societal equivalent of Conan's "Best in life" speech is leveled upon the decent people in Baltimore.

Two more episodes last night (4 and 5).

Thoughts:
- My concerns over Prez and the classroom setting are going away. I see where this is going now, and I like it.
- Marlo is a cold, cold motherfucker. LOVED his staredown with Omar at that poker game. It will be interesting to see what happens to Omar now that Marlo (via Chris) has framed him for murder.
- Carcetti's gonna win, I can feel it. I think it's gonna get really ugly up until the election itself, though. LOVING this political aspect much more than I thought I would.
- Where the hell is McNulty? He's a complete non-entity this season.

McNulty will be back. He was central for most of the series.

I liked that he retreated only to come back stronger later on.

And yeah, get kleenexes, Matt. I know that the others are referring to.

And on the note of great character, Prez indded got awesome, but I also really liked Cutty.

Thank you for reminding me of Cutty. Nothing would please me more than to see a spin-off series with his character.

Did episodes 6 and 7 of Season 4 last night. I'm starting to 'get' why this season is held in high regard...there's a definite weight to things (the election, the rise of Marlo, the jailing of Omar, the transitions of the major characters) that wasn't present before, and it's all gelling very nicely.

Just wait. Until the very last episode.
