Loved it - I sort of agree about the guy playing Parker, he looked a bit off, but it was still a great audition.

As for knowing how to fight... I think in the comics they said his Uncle Ben taught him some stuff. But Rob's right - if this is the first time using his powers, he wouldn't have self-control enough to not cut loose with his full strength. Cracked ribs, mangled organs, blunt force trauma, whiplash, smashed vertebrae... well, Parker's looking at quite a bit of detention in his immediate future. Also, lawsuits and jail-time.

      That's also stupid.
So you're asking for giant throbbing green cock, then?

Shit, why not ask to see Captain Kirk's wang actually penetrate the green chick?

I think it would be pretty great if that factored in to the new flick. Like he totally just breaks a dude's jaw with one punch. Then he freaks out and realizes that with great strength comes great responsibility.

The green chick needs penetration. Lots of it.
Touch it. Touch my fuzziness! It's like petting a kitten!
Now drop the pants and take the bacon!

So you want KICK-ASS, but with powers then?

Still, I'm sure it's handled in one way or the other.

No. I wasn't a fan of Kick-Ass for the most part. I just want this to be different than the original spider flicks and that would be a decent way to start.

If its going to be the same as Raimi's flicks for the most part, why bother? Why bother rebooting....ah never mind.

With what I have heard they're aiming for audience wise with this one. You're not going to get Cronenberg-esque violence.

I mean, this is all speculation anyways since there is no footage from the new flick. I just have this feeling that it's not gonna really do anything new minus having a hotter Mary Jane.

Exactly, it's why it's nearly impossible to give a shit about this entire franchise.

With great power... comes a grand fucking time at the expense of others.

this really is the most unnecessary reboot in the history of cinema.

So is there anyway that Spidey could show up in the Avengers flicks at some point? Would this reboot help that to happen?
