Of course I'm joking. I just think it's fun to pretend you're trolling rather than genuinely not enjoying such a great popcorn flick. I will concede it's not the greatest flick ever but to be at a point where a comic book flick can be treated as serious and well as this one has is just nuts considering how far they've come.

Cool. Sometimes you folks are so droll that it's hard for that to translate tonally in text on this end.

You raise a very good point, sir. I suppose I wasn't really being mindful of that. I went in to take the movie for what it is and not cut it too much slack because of the flicks surrounding it, or what it represents in the evolution of the superhero film as sub-genre. But that's not really fair on my part, as it does represent something pretty amazing when you think about it.

Yeah, sarcasm and subtlety do not translate well in text. And honestly if you didn't dig it I'm ok with it. And years from now I may see it in that "take it for what it is" mind set too, but to see my kids geek the fuck out for a super hero flick like they should and not have a disappointed look on their faces was so cool that any nitpicking was just impossible for me.

And like Russ said, they've come a long way, I mean Jeebus look at that Hulk pic....So awesome.
