I’m torn. Could be a good summer popcorn flick, could be absolute garbage that I’d walk out of if not for the cost. I’m not sure I’ll catch it in theaters either way. Maybe on some lazy afternoon once it’s streaming…

I mean, is this the whole movie? I'd say 50/50. Because everything has to be amped up 1000x of course it could just be the first 20 mins in which case, jfc. But holy hell, I saw Helen Hunt on tv the other day and STOP WITH THE FACE WORK HOLLYWOOD LADIES AND MEN. JUST AGE. I know it's shitty that Hollywood sucks with this shit, but you sign up to make money based on your looks and then you fuck it up to "fake" the fact you didn't age 20 years for some reason and then I'm supposed to sit here and go "Wait, is that....HELEN HUNT?" Proper fucked. Anyways, here's the new trailer, this is the movie that will bring me to theaters (thanks Lesley.....) for the first time since 2019. This is her Hackers and I get it.

Mia Goth makes these films. X is probably most def not up your alley but Pearl may be as it's just so weird and different. Either way, Mia Goth is amazing.

X impressed the hell out of me, and I really want to watch Pearl, so Maxxine is absolutely on my radar. Total agreement with Rob on Mia Goth - put her in all the things NOW.

I still enjoy X more overall I think, but yeah, PEARL was fucking awesome. Still need to check out Infinity Pool.

I'll rent it for sure just out of sheer curiosity and my love of Keaton. That being said, at least "in theory" they didn't take an easy gag and make Lydia "normal" or her kid. Could be fun, could be terrible. I don't think there will be a middle ground.

Just watched the new Beetlejuice trailer. Eh. Based solely on that, I’ll see it eventually. But I’m not going to be in any rush to catch it in the theater.

Pretty much this. I get where Rob was coming from, but with a tweak here and there to the story, this could be any run-of-the-mill revenge flick we've seen a bunch of times.

Rob is correct, though. The sequels to the original Crow are hot garbage.
