I think what's killing my enthusiasm is that going in a dark/grim/gritty/uber-real world direction doesn't really jibe with a character like Superman to me. Oh, sure, for Nolan's Batman films, yeah, it worked like gangbusters because that's what Batman is all about. Superman, not so much.Comment
