  • Considering how they were talking on the extras, there's a good chance it will prove to be a dream sequence. I would've preferred a less "please the horror fans" ending. Say, Righetti stands at the edge of the dock, staring down into the water, shivering. Padalecki walks over, cradles her, and they stare down at the surface together. POV shot of the water. You're waiting and waiting for the "jump" moment, but don't get it. Roll credits.

        • Trick 'r Treat. Finally. I'm glad I waited and rented. Some decent stuff, but there's nothing worse than coming away from a movie (horror, particularly) knowing how you were meant to be feeling and getting nowhere close.

          • Having only known what Devin was saying about the movie and being able to catch a screening of it at the New Bev. I was far more leinient on the film than most.

Also, getting a free dvd of the movie didn't hurt.

It has got to be a dream sequence.
That is the only reason I hate that movie. I fucking love it all the way up to that part. If it's not a dream sequence then fuck that movie. I'd buy it more if they didn't show the mask hit the fucking lakebed.

I fucking hated that movie so much. So much "mehness" it was ridiculous. Especially after Dev and the like hyped it up so much. I'd rather watch Creepshow 2.

Perfect ending IMO. Especially after they almost make you think

                    Spoiler: SPOILERS
that he's gonna pull a Travis Bickle on Rappaport.

                  • Yeah, I couldn't believe the people who wanted the ending to go darker than it did. I was starting to get pissed when it headed down the road that I thought it was going to, and them flipping the script like that made me adore it even more.

                    • Exactly. It'd be like Ceej getting hammered, kicking me in the dick and screaming "EVERYTHING I LIKE IS BETTER THAN EVERYTHING YOU LIKE". It's just not in the character.

                        • Watched The Dirty Dozen last night. Classic flick. Would make a great (albeit, long) double feature with Inglorious.

                              • I'll be putting off listening for a few weeks then. I don't want to be spoiled when it comes to Moon since I know so little about it.
