It was pretty good, not great. But I got a big kick seeing my alma mater's library and courtyard being used the as exterior facade of Starfleet Academy.

I enjoyed it. I didn't like the Slusho reference. But I did enjoy the Vulcan way of bullying.

I had a good chuckle during the simulator scene. But yet it wasn't too campy.

We watched this last night on blu. This is the first Trek Lesley has dug besides Khan. I fucking loved it. But jesus J.J., cut down on the lens flare next time. My eyes fucking hurt. Quinto didn't do a bad job as Spock (I was really against the casting) but he wasn't great. Pine did an admirable job, but it really was all about Urban as Bones. That was fucking PERFECT. Pegg was pretty good as was Anton. I really want a sequel now. And please no Khan. UNLESS they actually showed him and his super soldiers actually being, you know, super soldiers.
