It might be the mage class that I'm playing. I enjoyed it in the demo but not so much right now. I'm thinking about starting over with a rogue, as that was always my favorite class to play in the original game.

Started over with a female rogue, diplomacy route. I'm digging it much more, now. I'm still in the early stages of the game, but the story is starting to gel into something compelling.
