        Maybe when I was single. Now that my grocery budget is for 3, I'm not risking a 60 dollar steak. Not until I can afford to not give a shit, and chances are, that will never happen.

            I still stand by my salt technique. MAke any cut of meat more tender and flavorful.

                Sure. I just watch what I eat (at least I try) and that's just too much butter (especially with how often I eat steak) ghaha.

                  But yeah, salt helps the maillard reaction, so it's cool.

                    Look, I'll spend $60 on a steak, I'll even spend $75 on a steak after I kick in for a decent waiter's tip. My point being is that gorgeous steak isn't going to die a horrible death at my hands.
