Cooking Tips and Tricks Megathread

Inspired by V's revelation in the BDR Fanfic thread about water instead of milk in scrambled eggs - I never knew this, made the eggs that way last night, brought them in for breakfast this morning, and holy shit they're so good.

So, let's throw around some tips and tricks for kitchen/cooking stuff. Maybe make it a sticky?

It also helps if you scramble them right in the pan with a wire whisk. It makes the curds a little smaller, but they cook quicker and more evenly.

Also...

A pinch of dill weed and some white pepper. Nothin' but WIN!

I don't use water or milk in my scrambled eggs. But I do scrambled them while in the pan.

Ohhhhh.... I never would have made that connection! Actually, scrambled eggs are one of the few things I can cook without ruining them, so - aces!

Weird, I've never had runny scrambled eggs with milk, but I also load them up with cheese so that probably hides it.
