My folks gave me $50.00 for my birthday, and I have been wondering how to spend it. Watching the food network Thanksgiving programs, Bobby Flay mentioned "bourbon", and it hit me: a bottle of Jefferson. Since I'm running a little low on Scotch, and since Bulleit is so affordable I don't need "special ocasion" money to buy some. I know where I'M goin' right after work tomorrow. . .I like the way the line runs up the back of the stocking.

My wife gave me a bottle for Christmas. She got to taste several bottles before going for that one.
It's a Speyside, so we have a member close to those Macallan and Glenmorange (ding ding ding, a winner for me!).

The Aberlour is kinda lodged between the Balvenie Doublewood and the Maccallan, taste-wise. But I like it more. Haven't tried the Glenkinchie.
