Stephen Weber is a nice addition. Dug this episode a shit load more than the pilot episodes. And that ending? Yep, sold me on a good 2-3 more episodes. This feels like a bigger budget 4400. You know it's not great, but the ideas are more than enough to keep me interested.

it's so hard to keep watching. They seem to be hitting every standard sci-fi cliche that exists. But then we see the skitters sleeping like bats and fucking shit up with mind controlled kids that then keeps me wanting to watch one more episode. For all I know this could be like The 4400 which had a decent idea in a really shitty first season but that then became pretty awesome by the beginning of season 2. I'm sure having Jeffrey Combs and The Rocketeer helped.

Tell me about it, however the very last series Stargate Universe was actually half way watchable. Much better than any show named Stargate anything should be. Falling Skies is ok but I just can't get past meh with it.
