There seems to be a real divide between fans regarding the death of Gus. There was a lot of bitching about the lack of realism; but people have survived way worse shit than that, and for longer spans of time. Muscle memory/shock is an easy justification for a great moment like that. Fucking dumbass naysayers.
I can only speak for myself, but I thought it worked really well in the usual dramatic fashion the show has used to fuck with the audience before. We all knew the explosion would happen, but for a minute I was fooled and thought Gus somehow survived and was imagining how much Walt just fucked himself--but holy shit no he didn't!!Comment
