Fall 2010: The New Shows Thread

Watched both 'the Event' and 'Hawaii 5-O' last night.

'The Event': This second episode was better but not by much. We got confirmation that it's an alien conspiracy thing (at least THAT got answered) and some of the characters got a bit more fleshed out, but that's about it. The flashbacks and the shitty special effects still ruin the show.

'Hawaii 5-O': Solidly entertaining. Nothing earth-shattering or game-changing at all, but it's definitely well made. The chemistry between the two leads (McGarrett and Danno) is simply fantastic. Without them the show would really be NOTHING.

Haven't wathced it yet. I liked Hawaii so far. The Event is alien?

Well I watched the 2nd episode. Even Peter Wondername couldn't save it. And he's by far the best thing on the show.
