The Shield is much easier to watch I think. People could act indignant about it, but it's true. I couldn't fault anyone for liking The Shield more, long as they do like The Wire.

They're in the same category as both are dramas per se. But as always, fuck the emmys. The lack of nominations much less wins for The Wire proves that.

They're two different shows with completely different subject matter. That's like saying Will Arnett as GOB is better than Ricky Gervais as David Brent. Arrested Development and The Office are both comides, but you can't compare the two directly.
