When I was at armorer's school last week the Glock rep had this ridiculous, tricked-out Gen 4...I think it was the .45 GAP. It had the Olive frame, a fancy tactical light on the rail, and a goofy laser sight. Overkill for a salesman but I suppose it helps him sell gear.

I've often thought about that. You see it in movies all the time...the good guy has a gun and is aiming it at the bad guy...the bad guy walks slowly towards the good guy, saying words to the effect of 'you aren't going to shoot me. You can't pull the trigger'. The good guy backs away, trembling, unable to pull the trigger. The bad guy grabs the gun, aims it at the good guy, and re-assumes control of the situation.

Not me. In 100% honesty, I'd have NO PROBLEM AT ALL shooting somebody who threatened me or mine. NONE. I'd have no problem killing them either.
