Back in October, I went shooting for the first time in nearly a decade with my dad, little brother, dad's friend, and his daughter. The guy next to us on the range had what I'm sure was a Mosin Nagant Carbine with a stock that wasn't the usual Mosin stock.

He was there to sight the rifle in and every time he fired scared the shit out of me. I would jump every time. It sounded like artillery going off. I've never heard a gun as loud as that.
