Because he wasn't engaging his taste buds when he was smoking. Hmm. Such a serious question requires a serious and thoughtful answer. For you grave, I shall endevour to see whether I can identify individual gummy tastes whilst smoking. I know, I know. I'm that kind of friend. Willing to take the bullet.
