One of the issues with Clone Wars was it aired out of order. I watched all the episodes in the correct order, which actually made things more cohesive. Still, the feature film is the series low point...well that and the Jar Jar episodes.
I'd say the middle of season 2, with the Mandalore story, is where it finally starts to become good. Plus, the Mandalore stuff comes up several times throughout the series and again on Rebels. The Dathomir stuff with the Nightsisters and Maul is also great.

The clones they introduce in Clone Cadets are actually kinda neat. As the series progresses, one-by-one they slowly get killed off, until only one remains by series 6. So you just gotta watch the entire thing.Blog Time! http://plasticlovin.blogspot.com/

So it looks like Yoda has easily beaten Finn (75% to 25%), and Kylo did pretty much the same with Jango (73% to 27%).
Next up is Ahsoka vs BB-8, which will probably be the closest contest yet. They are both newer and huge fan favorites. I think Ahsoka will take it, but I could be overestimating the Clone Wars/Rebels fan base.
