McCarthy (who is scum, regardless of who is mad at him) made a concession overnight. Basically, he told the Freedom Caucus that he would lower the negation threshold to 1 person.

That means anytime he proposes or undertakes something, 1 person can stop him everytime.

The traditional Republicans are furious over this and will vote against him if it happens.

The RNC has already been prepping a list of alternative Speakers to start deploying by next week, as all of the House refuses to participate in this over the weekend.

No one has the votes to adjourn for the weekend. On the R side, there have been relatives dying, wives giving birth and surgery needs that are pushing them to leave the Floor. They are not doing it.

If I was an elected Dem rep, here's how I would entertain myself all year long.
