E.T. was never one of my childhood movies actually (Great movie, sure). So that comparison means dick to me with the nostalgia factor. The Goonies, on the other hand...not to mention stuff like Back to the Future, Raiders of the Lost Ark, the original Star Wars trilogy, etc.
