Apparently, they are going to film a Hobo with a Shotgun movie and Rutger Hauer is playing the Hobo.

I loved the trailer when I first saw it during the Grindhouse contest, and always hoped it'd become a feature. Hopefully, it'll have the same vibe Black Dynamite had: 70's feel, over-the-top performances and action. The folks involved have to have fun with this if it's going to work - if they try and get all serious with it, it'll lose it's punch.

I kind of like Death racer vs. The Vampire Women myself, but The Dead Won't Die was good too.

Well, I'll take that before another Tyler Perry movie. I'm with Tomothy on this one. I has to be over-the-top insane to be good. If they play it straight, it's dead, much like Machete will be if they fuck it up.

Still, I don't know what Matt and Rob were thinking when they saw this trailer for the first time. I damn near busted a gut when I saw this.

Honestly, I could care less about Tyler Perry or the movies that he puts out. I am not the target audience for those films, so I'm totally indifferent as to their quality (or relative lack thereof).

However, I AM the target audience for something like 'Hobo with a Shotgun'. Dammit, this almost feels like a slap in the face 'here, you'll watch anything' kind of movie, and that pisses me off.

The trailer had one thing going for it: the editing. Yes it felt like a real grindhouse movie, but not one that I ever wanted to see. Which means it also kind of fails in that respect. Those trailers are supposed to make you want to watch the movie because they make it look awesome.

I just liked how the trailer kept getting more and more over the top. The winner involved the pedophile Santa Claus.
