Along Came Polly? Good lord man, why?

I also liked how the two real killers of JFK high fived each other from the grassy knoll.

Actually, I've never gotten sick of Stiller. I can understand the burn-out for some, but I like him. I freaking LOVE Anchorman, and his little cameo as the Spanish channel newscaster is one of my favorite parts. The anchorman street rumble was the best part of the movie, IMHO. 'Dodgeball' was the LAST Stiller movie that I really enjoyed. For some reason, he was awesome in that film.

Otherwise, we seemed to get about a 5 year span of 'let's watch Ben Stiller suffer' movies.

Stiller was really really good in Permenant Midnight even though the movie had some serious shortcomings.

This. He can do dark stuff - he just chooses not to.

Was that the flick about ALF behind the scenes?

He was good in 'Your Friends and Neighbors', too. Yeah, he can be a solid dramatic actor when he wants to be...too bad that he got stuck in that 'watch me suffer and laugh' niche for too long.

Sort of, Jerry Stahl was a writer on ALF, along with other shows. In the movie, they couldn't get the rights so they created a knockoff character in the place of ALF.

FUN FACT: Stahl was one of the writers credited for Bad Boys 2.

Ah, Dodgeball. That was also fun.

Even that didn't really bother me. "There's Something About Mary" was on not too long ago, so we re-watched it, and we were dying at the end when he was walking out to his car, crying like Jack Shepherd. Just the snorfling and wailing sobs were too much - we cracked up all over again.

Another movie I haven't seen. First one is pretty good except for that dumbass subplot about the two cops switching identities.

I still love the opening music of that film.

And from what I remember, Stiller was okay in Mystery Men....I think. Why did I see that movie twice?
