I liked it, but it has faults.

The only way it's getting a Best Picture nomination is if it stays at 10 films and people forget about 6-7 other movies released in 2011. Script is good. Fincher is good. The acting is all over the place. Plus, it's edited as poorly as recent Bond movies.

The trailers look good, and it looks like vintage Spielberg from a quality point of view. The wife really wants to see it, so I want to ensure that it's worth the effort.

I've seen it twice now. Both screenings had some people that it just utterly destroyed to watch.

It's Best Picture material for sure. However, it's not Spielberg's strongest directing feat. I've gone back and forth on that, but I feel comfortable with it now.

The score is some of the best work that John Williams has done since 1993. The acting is across the board, but it holds up.
