To a point. At my last job, we had a QA guy from Moscow who worked for Toyota in Japan for a number of years. He said at the time (about 7 years ago), when it game to gadgets and electronics/tech, Japan is roughly about 5+ years ahead of us. Meaning don't be surprised if they's got an Xbox 720 or something similar.

Ah, but for all their technical prowess, they sure are an eccentric bunch, especially when it comes to kink: hentai, girls underwear dispensers, porn, tentacles, boobs - BIG on boobs in Japan, mostly since their diets aren't conducive to large mammaries for most Japanese women. I'd read a blog from a guy who used to teach in Japan and he said Japanese men are OBSESSED with big boobs on women (so are we, but they're on a whole new plateau).

Oh, yeah. I'll try and find a working link to the guy's stories (ones I found didn't work right). Japan is very much into US stuff, especially the blouse mice on American gals. I remember him saying because most Japanese girls eat more fish and vegetable dishes, they don't build up the needed amounts of fat in their chests that lead to bigger breasts. I think he said it's partly genetic, too.
