The ending was trite in Adventureland, but the film up to that point reminded me of those summers where I had a jerb that involved demeaning tasks and amusing clownshoes.

And The Wackness was trite in its ending as well. But it has a higher-than-Redman Ben Kingsley and an of-age Olivia Thirlby going for it, which is nice.
