      • That it was, without that scene my thoughts on the movie would have been much lower. It's a strange beast to say the least.

Way better than Funny People though.

            • I love that Mitchells own lackeys saw through his shit at the end. Great stuff. And in all honesty Billy Mitchell is a douche.

                • Saw Bronson last night, it's very much a character study. Tom Hardy is amazing as Bronson, very Kubrick-esque lighting and visuals. Great music cues, including a hilarious one with Pet Shop Boys. However, the movie is a challenge to get through and it leaves an odd taste. It's not as violent as I thought it would be and every time I thought one thing happens something unexpected occurs.

I really need to check out the "Pusher" trilogy at some point. Which is the series of films the director did prior to this one.

                      • Blackballed. Wasn't great but I fucking love Rob Riggle so much. Definitely had some pretty funny parts. And any movie that starts with a shit ton of He-Man figures being used to explain paintball tactics is worth a watch.

                        • Yesterday I watched Bra Boys, which is a documentary about a surfing gang in Australia. Somehwat interesting, best part is watching the surfers take massive waves. Other than that, not a whole lot, except I didn't need to see an upturn shot of some guy's gaping neck wound. Then there was a 15 year old kid in tats.

Still, it's interesting to come across total shit holes with amazing beaches. Something you don't really come across in this country.

As for what Rob was saying, He-Man action figures, eh? Looks like we now know who will play Ari in the upcoming biopic: "WOMP: The Ari Strozenberg story".

                          • Currently re-watching Watchmen, still love it. Jackie Earle Haley has perfected the dead-eyed stare only found in 17 year olds. It also doesn't help that I know a guy who kind of looks like Kovacs.

Plus, I keep thinking Zach Snyder is the new James Cameron. Just without the constant need to rip other off.

Got both on my instant list. Will knock them out this week.

Watching Grace is gone now. Depressing shit but well done.

I'm all about an original new horror anthology flick. It's too bad that there was about 30 mins of actual good movie in here.

I'd much rather watch Henriksen battle a Winston creation than watch this flick again. Such a disappointment. But the Paquin bit was fucking great. One of the best parts of the movie.

God I love us horror fiends. We really will eat anything up. But this was pretty much horrible in my opinion.

Sure I'd rather watch this than the newest Saw flick, but I agree with that statement.

Listen, if you listen to the casts we all know my love for some good horror/anthology flicks. Even the abysmal Creepshow 2 was better than this. Samhein (did they ever give him a name) should have been in a different flick. We did think he was pretty creepy and awesome. Dylan and his kid was decent. Paquin was decent. But I was so bored in between. And I really wanted to love this movie. So much. But this should have been a short movie in a longer, better movie.
