It is still out in select theaters, though. I know it's playing at one theater at least in the Twin Cities still.

Well, that doesn't help me. It's not playing here.

If any of you review guys need to "destroy " a screener of this by removing it from your home, I can assist with such a thing.

The only locks this year belong to Lego Movie for Best Original Song and Gone Girl for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Not at all. Shit, Waltz was the first steamroll win since Brando for The Godfather. A rarity in every sense of the word.

The Best Supporting Actor race mirrors the Best Actor race from 2005 in a rather unique fashion. Shit, they're splitting the early Awards in the same race.

The Globes are this weekend and then SAG, so we're going to start seeing some definition. I expect Simmons to hold out and pull the Hoffman style win, but it is ripe for upset.

As of now, it's a dead heat between Norton, Simmons and Hawke.

The scripting fuckjob given to Whiplash was the Academy at its banal best. Seriously, it is just stupidity given life.

I have huge issues with Whiplash, but Simmons has been building to this for ages and it might be his last shot.

It's the same reason that the Directors are going balls deep over Boyhood. It's a weak year and everyone is sticking with favorites.

That would be my favorite movie of 2014. I wanna see Whiplash, like Matt, but Boyhood is gonna stick with me for a long time. Mind you, I still love Guardians to death, and will likely stay with me forever, but still.
