    THE INTOUCHABLES (on Netflix)

    This is the French mega-hit about a paraplegic and his assistant. This was pretty damned great and had a lot of genuine, character driven laughs in it. We liked it a lot.

      Intouchables is fantastic. LOVED IT.

      That movie is hated in the US cause it's apparently "racist" (no it's not).

      Omar Sy is so great. I raved about it a while ago, but like some TV shows, I'm like alone watching it.

                OK. Nothing special. Ralph wasn't particularly likeable and the story was totally predictable. I guessed who and what the bad guy was as soon as they explained who Turbo was.

                  That movie was fucking terrible. And the potential was wasted. Silverman's character was the worst, the fucking music GODDAMMIT DISNEY, and not enough time with the "real" vg characters for my liking. Boourns to all of it. ALL OF IT I SAY.

                    I wouldn't call it terrible, but yeah...definitely a lesser movie in that animated genre. Lots of wasted potential and predictable plotting, and the characters were uninteresting at best, annoying at worst. Even the racing was meh.

                      I liked it. It's not great, but I liked it more than a whole of movies. Like, say all the Shreks, most Dreamworks (not Dragons and Panda), the Cars and other minor Pixars.

                              Antz is amazing. Woody Allen and Sly are fucking great. The first Shrek was actually really well done in my opinion. Yeah the sequels ruined it hard, but Lithgow was GREAT in the first one and Myers did a decent job. Still would have liked to have gotten the Farley Shrek, but still.

                                ANTZ was much, much better than it should have been. Hackman also deserves some praise as the general.
