Our lovebirds are back and Rob cannot believe what you can find on YouTube these days. The days of forest porn are long gone and kids have no idea how easy they have it. They both have thoughts about Justice League (SPOILERS: 14:30-33:ish), totally love Thor: Ragnarok (SPOILERS: 34:10 – 42:40), Boston Dynamics will be the bringers of death with their killer robots, and Rob has a theory that scares him much more than nuclear war.

The CW show is the 100% modern take on the Barry Allen origin. Basically, the only difference is Barry is blonde in the comic. That's about it.

What are your thoughts on the show? I know a bunch of people don't like Barry and prefer Wally (comics wise).

I got into comics right at the start of Wally being The Flash.

I love the DC show. Legends and Flash are the only ones I really get into watching. Honestly, I just love the Geoff Johns influence on both and how they best blend the source material.

Even JL Flash doesn't act like Wally. Wally in the comics worshipped Iris for knowing the Flash and incidentally got caught in a similar Speed Force accident.

From there, it's less dumb kid and more just trying to get a handle on his Speed Force powers. Barry had adult level control from the start, while Wally had way more physiological issues with it.
