I'm working on a no alert run on Big Boss Hard right now.
It started off as a no kill/alert run, but I ended up getting 1 kill at the end of act 1 and act 2, so I just said fuck it.
I'm killing all the beauties using only the tranq. gun too. The fights get so long and worn like this. I just downed vamp, and I'm working on fighting liquid's MGRay.
When I'm done with this run I'm going to do a no kill run on easy just so I can get the bandanna, then I'm off on getting the Fox, Hound, FoxHound, and Bigboss emblems.Comment

I'm working on the Fox Hound rank (No kills, No Rations, No Continues, Alerts < 3 but I'm trying for 0 Alerts, No special items, and beat it in under 5:30 hours) on Big Boss Hard right now. So far, so good, I'm on Act 3 right now. This is practice for trying to get the Big Boss rank. I tranquilized all the bosses on my first play through on Big Boss Hard but I didn't get all the special dolls so I'm doing it again. I figure I can spend about an hour on each act so I'm doing good on time so far, plus Act 5 is short so I shouldn't use the whole hour in that act. Well, you can CQC them to knock them out or stun knife them, but yeah, basically you tranq/sneak your way through. It was fun though. Not sure when I'll try to get the Big Boss rank, but I'm thinking I should try it soon while I still remember how I got through this time. The Mosin is a must. You can tranq enemies from afar.
