I finally found a fishing pole last night and tried a little fishing. I couldn't figure out why it was so difficult until I finally landed the fish- a 53 lb. Pallid sturgeon. Probably the second most difficult fish to land, I assume, based on the challenge list.

Yeah I got $20 canadabucks credit from Oculus which is why I was looking at this game, great minds. "Need a lot of room to play" even with the locomotion stuff? My play area isn't very big at all unfortunately but have been able to get by well enough in position-locked games like I Expect You to Die and Job Simulator. Stuff like GORN that's meant for room scale I've just gotten accustomed to having to move myself around a lot more in-game since I don't have much real world space to move in, what is it about NOIRE that requires a large space? That might be a dealbreaker, depending

And yeah, have a i7 7700k 4.2 GHZ, 16 gig DDR4 ram and a GTX 1070 so if i cant run a port of a 7 year old game then they really fucked it up lol

Your setup should be totally fine for the game. It prompts you when you buy it in regards to the room scale and even says that it runs "best" with a 3 sensor setup. My area is a bit small and during some things I had to finagle the locomotion to allow me to do stuff. But the normal stuff worked fine. Driving is surprisingly fun once you get the hang of it.

so I wasn't huge on 3 or 4 as the collectathon ubi shit turned me off AND it was always difficult for me to see bad guys in the trees and shit, would this be worth picking up? Since the story is lame is it just fun to run around and fuck with shit?

I mean, I thought it was fun to run around and fuck shit up in 3 and 4. There's very little hunting in this (skin 2 bears, get upgrade points, don't kill anymore, etc etc) but that's the only collecting in 3/4, animal parts for upgrades. So not sure what your tolerance is really. I'd wait until it's cheap.

Got into the Whitetail region last night. I have NO FUCKING IDEA what the story is in this area. I got kidnapped (again, ugh) and had to do a weird like time trial drug induced murder simulator...but then I was with the "friendly" militia and they were referencing the place they rescued me from...but I don't remember a rescue at all? And then I get the Bliss drug haze or hunting parties come for me again a couple times, and I do the murder simulator time trial thing again, then I am just laying out in the grass? It makes no fucking sense and the story is reeeeeeally bugging me. Can't wait to just go fuck up outposts.

I ignored a lot of this and the guy started playing Only You while I was cleaning up an area.

I ended up murdering 20 of my own guys after passing out.

Is Whitetail the southwest section? That's the one i started with and am still working on. Not a fan of when you get marked and kidnapped. The second kidnapping last night caused me to for a lot. Those Blissed fuckers are a pain.

I've got all the Specialists, every weapon slot open and attack helicopter at my call.

So, I've been taking my time going through the rest of it.

I have one more specialist to grab, which I will tonight. The helicopter lady. Yesterday I was getting all the specialist kills for my perk points. I've been avoiding the side missions and outposts for the most part.

The AK does work, but god, I want the G36C from 3 back so bad.

I keep finding the hidden perk spots to fulfill my perk needs. Plus, I'm really good at shooting random animals in the face.

picked this up on PC and so far I dig it. I enjoy shooting these white bastards in the face. It also helps I'm back on mouse/keyboard, I think that was my problem from before as I picked up both FC3/4 on console and I just never got the controls down. Not a problem now. Looks amazing on ultra.

Beat Far Cry 5. HOLY SHIT. Like...how do you make another Far Cry game? That ending is just fucking insane.
