I may pick this up, but would I be at a disadvantage as I haven't played before? Or is what you guys doing basically a jump in and run with it? I just want to join some shenanigans and CoD is damn near dead at this point.

Well the reason I had said you shouldn't grab it as it's not a COD type clone. The physics are different, you will have to learn to bunny jump around, get used to the fact that you won't be good at it for a while, etc. If you have the loot, go grab it, also, if you want to play ranked you will need to download all of the map packs, and they aren;t free.

You guys are playing ranked? I thought you were just screwing around in private. Also how much are the map packs? Outrageous or feasible?

Nate and I play rank all the time, last night we were just fucking around. Map packs will probably cost you about 20-25 bucks.

I concur. But if do intend on playing, quick tip: shoot one or two rounds and elbow, if you're an close range person; and use grenades and a assualt rifle (three rounds to the head kills) if you like mid/longer range.

I think I'll be o.k. playing but I've never been a big bunny hopper so that's just something I'll have to figure out to either do or a way around it. Either way I just want to find something to play with my friends list as CoD friends are apparently all vampires and are only at home during the 8-5 hours.
