Maybe in November you'll be proven right as that's the usual due date for a new CoD.

Don't get me wrong I'm wearing thin on the same old same old but every time Ari, Scott, sometimes Vin and I jump on to play as a group we have a blast. And at the end of the day that's what matters to me.

They don't need to die. They need to reinvent. The gameplay is solid and people enjoy it. It's just gotten to the point that it's stale. And NO changing era's or locations is not reinventing.

What needs to change is Microsoft's stance on DLC packs. I fucking love these games on PC's because at least we get new maps ALL THE TIME. Here we're lucky to get 10 maps a year, if that. That's my big problem. After two months I'm bored of the maps that come with it.

Look man, I loved the fuckbewbs out of Modern Warfare, but it has been a steady decline in quality ever since. Whether it is due to EA being twatwaffles to their developers or the cocaine monkey getting out of his cage at the office, you gotta admit they've been spinning their wheels for a couple of years now.

BF3 will be the reinvention we all need, now everyone calm the fuck down. FPS have been around a goddamn long time and go in cycles about like this. Doom and its ilk. Quake and its ilk. CS and its ilk. Enemy Territory and its ilk. CoD and its ilk. Now BF3 has the chance to stay the fuck up since Brink went all DERPDERRRRDERP.

As for IW trying to do something new, they did with MW, and MW2 refined it to perfection. Treyarch just ran with the formula IW created. Treyarch should have created their own vision of CoD instead of just piggybacking IW's engine.

Holy fucking christ fuck this game. Half the matches I play are so unbearably laggy than I cant even shoot at another character, and every round gets drawn out 40 minutes cuz we cant capture/defend any objectives when everyone is teleporting around in a fucking lag orgy and it keeps adding time to the round when we lose shit.. plus the AI just randomly decides at the 1 min mark to turn into fucking SKYNET and just wipe out our entire team in a heartbeat and destroy whatever we were trying to save for 60 lousy seconds after 30 minutes in the shit ass round... ARGHhH.. this is getting traded in by next week I swear to fuck

Fair shake: On the few occasions it wasn't unplayable due to lag, and we actually had a competant team, and we managed to survive a SKYNET assault by the hair of our teeth.. it wasn't an awful game. Dare I say fun for a few minutes. But it's so few and far between, the customization is neat but low level cap plus fast n easy perk unlocks won't give the game much more of a lifespan in the age of CoD that make you play for ever to get shit

Got the Escalation map pack. Seems pretty good, but Convoy seems to be my favorite, but least played.
