Champions ONline goes free to play today. Matt, did any thing ever happen to improve the game while you played?

No idea, but I may try it out. I didn't HATE the game, I just didn't have any real reason to play the game once I hit level 40 with my main. The endgame content didn't do anything for me.

So, the Bulletstorm demo.

At first, it's disorienting because there's just so much going on AND you're being shot at, so it's hard to figure out innovative ways to slaughter.

And then you hit your groove and the game turns into this


and then you start kicking mutants into dust and then blowing up the dust just because.

The first time you go through it, you'll be disoriented and a little confused. The level is short, thankfully, which gives you time to play to the game's strength: replay. In order to start really enjoying the mechanics, I had to play through a couple times before things started to gel and I was abusing mutants for fun and profit.

Yea I played three times, and I still feel like I did shit...which was obvious because I one starred it, but I felt better. Voodoo Doll is AWESOME when you charge your leash and it explodes and the guy next to your target just flies into a spike.

I think I two starred it once and may it was freaking awesome. Bulletstorm was a "meh" on my list until this demo. Now it's looking more and more like a buy. Also sad to hear breach sucks.

So I started Gran Turismo 5 yesterday. I know, nobody here is interested in it, so I'll just say, so far I like it. Surprising, since I've played every game in the series, but I got GT fatigue around GT4. The huge time between games probably helped. Although, the menus could be streamlined a little bit.

I'll probably start Mass Effect 2 tonight. Any tips on what class my Shepard should be?
