I played Kinect for a bit at a Best Buy earlier today. I'll give it benefit of the doubt because obviously I was dealing with their being people around and all, but all my concerns I saw on gaming sites were present. I really, like REALLY, want Dance Central, but I can't justify the expense.

Downloaded Scott Pilgrim so I could get my free $10 in MS points. Fuck, even on easiest difficulty that game is kind of a bitch, but really only because it's so slavish in its 8 bit ways. Still a good time though. I was playing and one of the corrupt cartridge levels popped up and I totally geeked out and was yelling "Look babe look! It's like my old Bayou Billy cart!"

Unless you puss out and buy the super weapons from Wallace's secret shop right away you need to level up to 13 or 14 before you can start stomping ass. I saved my dollars to pay off Scott's late fees so I played the first three levels a SHITLOAD before I was able to get anything done on the later levels. In fact, it gets super-easy once you hit max level.

Make everything $5. I can't remember if it's specific to that store only but there's a lot of good stuff in there- 1-ups, strength boosts, defense boosts, etc.

Spent a lot more time with Fable 3. Became the king, and now I've found some legendary weapons. There is some weird time limit, that isn't really a time limit. I have one year in game to build up my treasury, but a day is only passed when you complete this list that your secretary in the castle makes for you each day. So I have been running around doing quests for seals so I can buy the max level combat abilities, while stacking up cash. I even found a demon door with $1mil in it. Kind of interested in seeing where this goes.

PIcked up the GTA bundle this weekend. Bummed that I can't get my PS3 controller to work with it. Even after downloading the drivers needed.
