Yeah, seems to be the big issue with this always on shit. They've got to fix that for a single player game. RPS's offered the solution of having "offline" characters and "online" characters, so those that aren't playing with friends don't have to deal with the always on stuff. My best friend and I put MANY hours into D2, and will be doing the same here, but he has two kids and trying to game with him while the kids are awake is impossible. He already said that basically this means he will get to play D3 from like 9PM-10PM on at night, which doesn't leave much considering we get up so early for work.
