Man, having a good gun makes all the fucking difference. I got a SICK semi auto pistol from the psycho girl in the Tundra and it chews through shit. Also, fuck buzzards. Note to those still early, find corrosion weapons and fucking keep them. SO MANY ROBOTS. Plus Buzzards are armored and you'll want the corrosion in Tundra big time.

Turret Mule Axton is the best Axton.

Also Raging Goliaths are my favorite battlefield buddy. It's even better when you get two of them, because then you can play the '2 Praying Mantises in a Jar' game.

Other thing I noticed is the vendor machines have been nerfed to shit. Don't expect to find anything good in them. I've seen two purples, and each time they've been 5 levels lower than I am and much worse than any guns I have. So spend that money at Moxxi's on the slot machines (there's also one in the Dust that costs less). And tip Moxxi I think 15k total and you'll get a pretty good gun.

Yeah if you don't have some co-op buddies by about 22-25 you're going to want them. Lynchwood and Opportunity are pits of despair which you will never climb out of alone. Or I've got horrible luck with guns. Still using my corrosive pistol reward from The Tundra...and I've spent easily $100k at the slots.

Yeah, I can already see that buddies are necessary. I'm around level 11.
