I liked Halo 3's ending. At least it fit the tone of the rest of the series.

Fucking Black Ops, though. Holy fucking shit, that last shot killed EVERYTHING. It would be like Jason Vorhees stalking you while wearing a rainbow afro wig.

Black Ops is fun, but the ending cinematic, especially when taken with EVERYTHING that preceded it, is beyond fucking retarded. Michael Bay would find it garish and overdone.

I'm trying to remember the Black Ops ending now. I remember enjoying the campaign and then thinking Holy WTF to the ending but the specifics are escaping me. To the YouTubes!

I didn't have any moments of "holy shit" like I did my first time through on Modern Warfare 1 (I marathoned that shit through an afternoon. I stopped only to pee, smoke and stir the pot of chili that I was making). I went in nothing little to nothing about the single player and got blown away three times: the intro as the doomed prime minister, the nuke and its aftermath, and pulling the trigger on Zakahev (holy shit, that was great).

Modern Warfare 3, to its credit, has the fewest "FUUUUUUCK YOOOOOU GAAAAAAME" sections of any Modern Warfare campaign to date, and THAT ENDING. So fucking satisfying.

I don't know. The HOLY SHIT Moments are there as well, from that level in Prague to the plane level, to the awesome battle moments. Overall, it's the best FPS campaign I've ever played. The Delta team is awesome (Fichtner RULES), and I liked how many characters you played (YES, THAT LAST ONE!!!!)

Mind you, I still have to get Crysis 2, as it was written by Richard K. Morgan.
