I used to make fun of Troy for playing SR2 instead of GTA4, but I ate crow on that. SR2 is STREETS AHEAD of GTA4. It's not serious, the cars handle so much better and it's just more fun.

Mass Effect 1 isn't much fun to play but I liked it for purposes of getting the whole story and establishing the characters. But ME2 is the 2010 GOTY so it's a must-play (also: Strahovski). Here's my obligatory Rock Band mention- RB3. It has a high entry fee but I think it's so worth it. GTA IV is awesome. As far as downloadable games I think every 360 should just be preloaded with Peggle and Poker Smash. Limbo is great, too, but could probably stand a price drop to $10.

I'm done with Rock Band. I loved it, but I don't have the time. ME2 and RDR are on my radar. Dead Space is 20$...

Yeah, she's one of the main characters in ME2. For the way I played she was actually the clutch player. Her special powers were quite useful once they're leveled up. Saved my ass quite a few times. Also, you can make sexy times with her if you play your cards right.

RDR and Dead Space will probably be my first choices, if my wife doesn't make me buy that goddamn Michael Jackson Kinect shit. ME2 is right after that, and beofre Jackson if I have my way. Hell, I just got her Your Shape.

How's Black Ops? I'm waiting for MW2 to drop $$$, and I was wondering if Treyarch still suck at it.

The campaign is almost laughably short (maybe 6-7 hours?) and doesn't make any sense but I thought it was fun to play. Jake Sully and his fluctuating accent can eat a dick.

Martin PLEASE do not overlook Batmang!: Arkham Assylum. It's freaking epic. Totally fun gameplay and plus you're the GOTDAMNED BATMANG!!!

If you're not going to play on Live skip Black Ops. The campaign is fine, if you find it for $10 or under. Otherwise? No. If you DO decide to get Live again, then grab Black Ops. I have found that I enjoy it more than MW2, though I do miss many MW2 weapons. Overall though, I think it might be slightly better than MW2 (multi only, campaign...no).

As for Live, you're talking Gold, right? I can still download demo, updates, etc... on Live, right?

You can't do shit without a gold account. Literally, not a goddamn thing. Maybe updates? Almost all demos now are Gold exclusive.
