Transfer of old 360 data to new console

So my plan was to have my new slim 360 in the living room of the new place, and my old elite in the game room. Seems MS won't let you sync your tag and DLC to multiple 360s. On the old 360 you could just pop off your HDD and put it on the other 360 and play on multiple systems. So I am thinking I might sell my Elite and my original 360 model (refurbed by MS after a RROD) so if anyone is interested let me know.

It shouldn't be close to death. It was a launch unit that's been repaired twice. The second time was after the Elite came out, so it got the "good" mobo and all that. I haven't used it in over like 18 months or something though.

Stores were supposed to start receiving them with the new 360s but I have never seen one in a store before.
