Halo: Reach

Hey duders, Target has ODST for $40 this week if you wants to be getting in on the Reach beta. I picked up a copy today so I'll be in for the Halo jumping and unloading 14 magazines into a guy before he dies.

So hunting for health packs is kind of a kick in the dick but I like this game (ODST, that is*). The overworld is an interesting idea for this series and the music is pretty great.

I am curious why they used Nathan Fillion's likeness but it looks like they aren't using Adam Baldwin's face.

*But Aisha Tyler tells me there are health packs in Reach also, so...

Fuuuuuck, this beta is downloading so slow it's like my cable company switched out the cable line with smoke signals.

Yeah, it's Halo. That is to say, all weapons are ridiculously underpowered unless someone else is using them (seriously, HOW IN THE FUCK can I empty two magazines into a guy and melee him in the head TWICE and I'M the one who dies) and it's generally not near as good as people give it credit.

Oh shit, Invasion mode is fucking awesome.

Also, lol at my last post. This game plays so completely different from CoD that it took a day for me to get back into the Halo groove.

OMGZ!!!! I am so giddy with joy! I feel like the Queen of the Prom! After playing the beta last night I will be pre-ordering Halo Reach! Like Gravedigger said it did take some getting use to again. And the default controller layout is ass. The amount of new addition make this feel so fresh and new, I was just drooling and starring at the shine new-ness of the game play! Didn't have much time to play last night but I can't wait till everyone gets this! Stabbing someone in the back never felt so good as it did last night! I am already calling it... this game is a 9.8 out of 10, and it's still in beta!

Yeah as far as I know. Costco here in Cali has ODST for $25. Thats the only reason I got it. (Costco is like Sam's Club)
