Isn't that the reason for splitting up the game into 3 separate games? So each faction had its own campaign? Yes, there is a full and complete and "long" single player campaign. This release focuses on the Terran story. Word is that there is a small Protoss and Zerg campaign, but just a tease. The expansions will focus on adding full and complete campaigns for the other two.
So yes Rob, single player. Plus a challenge mode. And I assume sandboxes.Comment

Uggggh Blizzard is going to ruin gaming for me. This game is so, so, soooo good. I had a mission to collect minerals for a guy. He wants 8,000 units. Shit, that's a LOT. But hey, they say just a small Zerg group on the planet, not too bad.
Oh, wait. LAVA. All the minerals are in low land. And the lava overflows and floods the low land. Obviously, you can't have your units out there harvesting during the overflows. So you have to move a command center out to the minerals, have your SVC's farm the units, and when the lava is about to overflow move all your units to high ground and lift off your command center, as it can FLY. And you can pick up other units and free batches of minerals and fuel around the level, but you have to fight Zerg off along the way. So you have to be careful not to get cut off from your base, and killed by a big group of Zerg.
