No it's a different view perspective (I believe you can change it) but you only control your guy. You can make the AI players pass, tackle, etc by pressing the corresponding buttons, but you cannot directly control them. you can however set up formations, tactics, etc on the fly. You get xp for good shots, passes, staying in your position, etc. And then you can use your guy in every other mode as well and still gain xp to level up attributes. It's fun due to the fact that you can use the gameface mode to put your face on the guy. So when I get a sweet fucking shot past the goalie, it's my face all excited on the guy. Stupid, but neat.

The thing is, you can use your created character on what ever team you want in any mode. So you can play a quick match and control the full team, but your guy will be on there and will gain xp if you use him during the match. I believe even online with your friends."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet. I mean that as a compliment" - BillyG

I am too Internet-illiterate to have yet hooked up my PS3 to the internet. Hell, I haven´t even figured out how to install W-Lan yet. So I have to relay on old school 2 on 2 via couch for this one.
But I´ll sure sneak myself into my home team. That´ll be a sure shot to the relegation. Yay!

So excited to play anyone who owns this. Once again, if you fancy a game, P.M. me with your P.S.N. I.D. and I'll add you."The bear is a solitary animal. They like their space. I was having a blast last night zooming all the way in to my dude's face during an instant replay and looking for emotions. Lesley and I were dying with some of the faces my guy would make."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet. I mean that as a compliment" - BillyG

Fuck. Now I'm really tempted to buy this game since I've basically finished Borderlands (but by no means will stop playing it). Rob, which would you prefer to keep around longer: FIFA 10 or Assassin's Creed 2?
Most likely will pick it up on the 360 as opposed to the PS3 because of NXE party chat unless someone knows it looks a lot better on one than the other.

I'd say 360 because I have it for the 360 haha, but either or is supposed to be good. As for AC2 over FIFA, I haven't touched AC2 since I got Borderlands and I'm still in my shiny new game phase with FIFA. Also, weren't you kinda meh on AC2 anyways? Both are great games, FIFA has more replay value (obviously) but AC2 is pretty fun."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet. I mean that as a compliment" - BillyG

Rob, I'm not buying it on the 360 because you have it, Mr. "I'm so anti-social today so I'm not going to play with you, unless you're Ed". I want to get it on the 360 because then I could chat with friends when I'm playing.
Yah, but AC left a bad taste in my mouth, so I wasn't initially sold on AC2. But I became more interested when critics AND friends were saying that they fixed shit that I had qualms about from the first game.

Haha. Point taken. Although I've been online with people all week. Just not in Borderlands haha.
But yeah, AC2 is fun and FIFA is as well. But since AC left such a bad taste, maybe you should rent AC2 just in case? I know alot of people still hate on AC2 but I dig it."Looking like Nic Cage dressed in Kurt Cobain's closet. I mean that as a compliment" - BillyG
